Why as a hair brand you need to learn money management to be successful

Honestly, money management is the number one key, I think is very important because no money’s management. How do you, how do you plan to succeed? And I, and I really suggest that every business owner who’s starting off to really consult with a CPA. Just so that you can start off on the on the right feet because, um, I’ve made some mistakes and I have to pay for those mistakes. So now it’s like, you know, I have someone to really help me and to guide me my now, where you implementing like your own money managers. Tactics strategies prior to you getting a CPA? No, I just was going with the flow. I was just going with the flow and I’m not gonna lie to you. I was making the money. I was spending the money. I was making the money. I was spending the money. Cause I just felt like, you know what? I want this bag or I want these shoes, you know what? I’m gonna go get it because I’m gonna make it back on this day. You get what I’m saying? And that’s what. The right way. It seems like that’s a common theme among us. I did another interview in the same thing, and I I’ve experienced the same thing as. Absolutely. When you big, when you sit down and just be like, you know what, and you really look at how much money you ran through and you don’t have nothing to show for it, but you know, some shoes or some bags you’re going to change your mind for sure. Exactly what you mean now, do you utilize credit at all in your business? Um, I do. Uh, what role has that played for you? Okay. You say credit? Um, business credit? Yeah. Like business loans, any type of credit products? Um, a cell for business. Cause you know, sometimes people be using a. Ready for business? The, absolutely not as, I don’t suggest that at all, but as far as like business credit, um, I have, um, American express, uh, you know, two American express cards as far as loans. Um, I did qualify for the SBA loan, um, and that was. Okay. So what, what possesses you to take alone? Is it more inventory? Is it hiring on, is it marketing? Um, when should someone consider taking. Honestly for me, um, I took the loan because I wanted to, um, enhance my marketing. And when I say, and like running like Facebook ads, um, I wanted to hire on someone to, uh, take over like my email marketing, text marketing, um, as well as stock on inventory because of the price of. Increased drastically. So, you know, just making sure I’m staying in stock where my wigs and closures frontals and bundles and those things like that. And, uh, being able to pay my employee just in case if things you know, are slow. Okay. So not necessarily taking a loan for the sake of taking it, but you had a plan or, you know, some steps you had in mind that you wanted to use the money for? Absolutely. Okay. Now for Harris tension, Marines that are just getting started. Um, what advice would you give them for getting a first few sales? The first few sales? What advice I say be yourself? Um, be yourself, like in, in my company, like it’s. To have, um, hair influencers, but I got off your brand, like with your own personality, like have your own voice and make sure that you are wearing your products and showing your, your people, you know, the quality, whether it’s you washing it, um, conditioned in a color in it, cut in, installing those things like that. Like do a few reels. The reels would really work for you. Like once you have one Bible reel, you’re going to. If they really don’t know what to. If you don’t know what’s suppose I honestly, this is what I do. Um, you don’t have to copy, but I suggest you looking at your favorite hair brand or research, looking at your favorite, your favorite hair brand. I’m not saying copy their content, but get an idea. Of how, you know, they’re doing that content, how they’re posting, like, you know, then go ahead and look on your insights to see what’s the best time for you to post. Once you look at your favorite hair brand and that’s what a light bulb thing. Okay, well, you know, well, this is what I want to do. You get what I’m saying?
